The Perfect Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend
Gluten-free | Dairy-free | No Sugar Added
Yield: ~ 3 Tbsp
Ingredients
5 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground allspice
1 tsp ground cloves
Instructions
Mix all the spices together in a small bowl, then use a funnel to fill a small glass jar or spice container. Alternatively, use a funnel to pour all the ingredients into a spice container, then shake the container until all spices are mixed together evenly.
Notes
Homemade spice blends can be stored for about 6 months to a year, but tend to start declining in quality after that point. Examine your blend each time you use it for signs of spoilage, although ground and dried spices usually last a while.
This homemade blend makes for a great hostess gift for fall gatherings, too! Simply mix up a batch and put it in a small glass jar with a bow for quick gifting.
